Each Panel Consists of a Colored Ring Created by Pasting the Decontextualized Weather Maps Into a Circle Described by Using the Arced Northern Border of the United States.

A Work Consisting of Six Concentric Rings of Decontextualized Maps Maps of the US on Arches Cover Black on Four Wooden Panels. Each Map Has Been Cut Out of a Newspaper, Magazine or Other Print Media, and Sorted According to its Dominant Color. Each of the Six Rings is Created by Pasting the Decontextualized Maps Into a Circle Described by Using the Arced Northern Border of the United States. In its Diamond Configuration, the piece is 8 Feet Wide by 8 Feet Tall.

This Piece is an Amalgam of Scraps from Weather Pages After the US Map has been Removed from them. The Scraps are then Turned Upside Down, Stacked, and Adhered to Arches Cover Black on Wood Panel. The Black Shape of a Backwards US is a Void Created by the Absence of the Weather Map.

This Piece is a Re-Created Map of the New York Region Formed by Removing Mapped Fragments from Newspaper and Re-Placing them in their Relative Appropriate Location. This Piece Depicts the Greater New York Area, from Trenton New Jersey in the South West, or Lower Left, to New London Connecticut in the North East, or Upper Right. In this View the Basic Shapes of Long Island, the Connecticut Coast, the Hudson Valley, and Northern New Jersey, as Well as the Densly Populated Core of New York City, Can Plainly Be Seen. The Work is 12 Feet High by 22 Feet Wide.

This Piece is Newsprint on Arches Cover Black on Wooden Panel, and is 18" x 48". The Work Consists of Layered Scraps From a Newspaper's Weather Page. With This Layering I Have Salvaged the Narrow Temperature Index to the Right Hand of the (absent) Weather Map and Used it to Form a Rainbow Spanning Across the Width of the Piece.
